ADMISSIONS

Admission requirements for the graduate and undergraduate degrees are listed in the section Academic Programs. To be admitted into our graduate programs we require a minimum point average (GPA) of 3.0, a minimum of 1000 on the combined verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE), and strong letters of recommendation. For foreign applicants, we require TOEFL scores.
The Graduate Studies website has more information and you can apply online at the College of Science and Engineering website.

The Institute also offers several Teaching Assistantships each year. These are available on a competitive basis and, again you can apply online or print the financial aid forms from HERE.
If you are awarded an Assistantship, course tuition is waived and you receive a stipend ranging from $11,500 to $13,000, depending on qualifications. As a TA your responsibilities vary but generally involve teaching the lab sections for one of our courses, most likely ENSC 10143 Principles of Environmental Science.
